Baladna seeks a passionate, committed, self-motivated individual to take the

position of our Resources & Project Development Intern

Responsibilities:

– Write project reports and grant proposals

– Research funding opportunities

– Assist Baladna in developing relationships with organizational and

funding contacts

– Keep a regular and detailed record of Baladna activities via

regular participation in Baladna events and direct contact and interviews with

Baladna's youth members

If the intern's skill and motivation level proves high enough:

– Assist Baladna with strategic planning regarding existing and

future projects

– To assist in planning, developing, and/or managing any and all of

Baladna's seminars, exchanges, conferences or trainings

Required skills:

– Native-level fluency in English

– Excellent English writing and editing skills

– Proficiency in using computer and word processing

– Ability to work flexibly, independently and using ones initiative

– Good communication skills

– Strong organizational skills – the ability to multi-task under

pressure

– Previous fundraising experience- advantage

Preferred skills:

– Knowledge of the Middle East

– Overseas work and/or travel

-Arabic and Hebrew

Duration:

We would prefer the intern to stay for one year, (time frame

negotionable).

Benefits:

The intern will gain an understanding of the unique situation facing

the Palestinian citizens of Israel from first hand experience and extensively

expand their political knowledge, in addition to knowledge of the mechanisms of

an NGO

To subsides the volunteers stay Baladna will provide a stipend of

$500, monthly.
